4th of July

We spent the 4th of July enjoying the nice weather and hanging out with friends. We started out watching the 4th of July parade with our friends Lori, Ken, Owen, Cameron and Terri and Mike (Owen and Cameron's grandparents). We then walked down to the Saturday market. We finished off our day by going to Lake Hood and watching fly bys of a some different airplanes. All in all it was a fun day but we were all tired when the day ended.

Olivia was able to enjoy the parade also, she is almost to big for the baby bjorn. Soon she will be moving to the big backpack.

Mackenzie continues to be a great big sister. Here she is holding Olivia's hand (without prompting from me) for the picture.

Mackenzie enjoyed an ice cream cone (in a cup to make it less messy) while we wait for the airplanes to fly by at Lake Hood.

You can always tell when Mackenzie is really enjoying the ice cream by how messy her face gets.

It has been long a day and Mackenzie needed a little Dad time while we watched the airplanes.
