Visiting the dog park

Cody has been a great addition to our family. Olivia loves to watch him and Mackenzie, well, she likes to play with him when it suits her. Cody would play with her all day long if she would just give him the attention and time. Perhaps when she gets a little older she will realize how cool it is to have a dog that wants to be your friend and best buddy.

Last Sunday we went to one of the dog parks in town, University Lake, so Cody could try swimming. We walked around the lake and let Cody swim in the lake in a couple of different spots. Mackenzie spent most of the trip around the lake in the stroll with Olivia.

Mackenzie truly is a loving, patient and kind big sister. While we were walking around the lake Mackenzie was holding Olivia's hand.

Here is Rob throwing the ball for Cody (we were not sure if Cody would like swimming and did not want to lose out dummy so we used a tennis ball to get him in the water).
