Olivia's First Brithday

It is hard to imagine that it has been a year since Olivia was born. Just like her big sister she brings joy to our family on a daily basis. It was great fun to celebrate this special day with family and friends. Olivia, as we all are, is very lucky to have so many people care about her.

Waiting for her party to start. Olivia loves balloons and had a great time walking around with the balloons for her party. I hope she will was find joy and fun in simple things.

As a big one year old, Olivia no longer uses a bottle but drinks from a big girl sippy cup.

Olivia still does not understand opening presents but she got lots of help from her sister and other guests at the party.

Singing "Happy Birthday". Olivia needed some help blowing out the candle this year from her big sister and friend Owen. Next year I am sure she will be able to handle it on her own.

"What exactly is this that you gave me mom?"

She had great fun with her cake once she figured out that she could smash it and eat it. The girl loves sugar.
